Kristen Stewart is rarely going to have a major-glam red carpet moment. It's just not her thing. But on Friday, she impressed me more than usual with the Chanel pantsuit she picked for the Cannes premiere of Clouds of Sils Maria. But the move I'm really applauding? The style switch she pulled after leaving the red carpet and heading out to dinner. Yup, she ditched the heels in favor of a pair of Chanel's embellished, glitzy sneakers that got Fawnia going when they came down the couture catwalks this winter. For comparison's sake, this is the jumpsuit with the sky-high nude heels she wore at the premiere. And when I say high, I mean high. For a girl who seemingly lives in Converse, that's a lot of height for her. I'm a fairly regular/practiced stiletto walker, and the slope of this pair looks downright masochistic.
