For an instant boost in height, simply don a ground-skimming maxi dress. Whenever I wear one, I always appear to be taller than my actual 5’4″. It also doesn’t hurt to throw on a pair of tall wedges. I fell in love with this style from the Peter Som for Kohls summer collection. Unfortunately, it’s sold out online, but there are bound to be a few still hiding in stores. I do have to wear my highest wedges in order to avoid tripping over the hem and also had a few tacks sewed into the bodice because the front gapped a lot. But other than that, I absolutely love this dress: the fabric feels super soft and cool and the shades of blue are incredibly brilliant. I continued the color theme by wearing navy wedges and carrying a cobalt clutch.
