It’s summer, and I’m feeling a little restless… I don’t have the mood nor patience to spend hours perfecting my makeup. Instead, I’m choosing pieces that are as easy to wear as possible, and Chanel‘s current Les Beiges collection for Summer 2017 hits all the right spots for me. I’ve already reviewed some of the pieces here and here, and today I’d like to show you a couple of color makeup for the eyes and cheeks. Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette surprised me… I’m not the biggest fan of sheer, natural eye makeup, so this wasn’t the most compelling piece for me based on the press images, but when I swatched it for myself, I found my cynicism melt away. The palette is the same size of any Chanel eyeshadow palettes, but housed in the chic Les Beiges case. It contains 5 powder eyeshadows in a rich silky texture that seems to melt to the touch, and glides on the skin like butter. The colours are in a range of skin-loving hues that serve to enhance the eyes without detracting from their natural beauty. Aug 16, 2018 - There are three new cream blushes in the Chanel Les Beiges collection called Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Sticks ($45 each for 8 g / 0.28 oz). All three have this soft texture that feels cool to the touch. The sticks are easy to swipe on the cheeks and blend flawlessly. Coverage and pigment is quite sheer compared to what you see in the tubes, but they layer nicely to give the face a very natural glow with a hint of color. These blush sticks give the skin a youthful glow with the perfect amount of soft color. If you like color you might want to skip these although I do think they make a good base for powder blush. If you have super oily skin I think these are probably going to also be a skip for you. They stay put for a few hours on normal/combination skin but if you get oily and find blush tends to disappear on you, these will probably do the same.
