There are 8 new Les 4 Ombres that have been released (and will be hitting most stores this summer) and will replace many of the existing ones. I finally got back to work today after a week’s siesta, which meant lunchtime freedom to roam the malls *yay*. And guess what I chanced upon: Chanel’s Spring 2014 collection out in full force at the flagship Ion boutique!! So of course, swatch I must. I hadn’t intended to pick up anything from Chanel this season, because I’m on a temporary self-imposed makeup “diet” until I am able to fully digest some of my recent acquisitions. But this swatch fest had me itching to pull all the stops, as you may soon see why…*sigh* “Spring makeup strikes a colourful chord with light, joyful notes. At the heart of the collection, a chorus of fresh, luminous reds sets the season’s tone for cheeks, lips and fingertips.” The Notes du Printemps collection seems to have something for everyone. Many of the items will be joining the permanent collection, whilst some are limited editions.
