Sophisticated necklace from Chanel with faceted beads, braided into an intricate collar. Central motif with roughcut faux amber stones. From 99A.. DETAILS This is an amazing, sophisticated and very rare necklace from Chanel. It is made from faceted beads, braided and twisted into an intricate collar which is sumptuous and totally chic. It has a central square motif that evokes the Byzantine period, with its eight roughcut resin round and square faux amber stones in a goldtone setting, and with a central round disc with 'CHANEL' written across it multiple times in a medieval script using the intaglio method. There is a beautiful, elaborate clasp with a round amber stone embellished with the CC logo, and a three ring extension chain and hook fastening. Total length of necklace is 19 (48cms), including a 2 extension chain. The central motif is 2 square (5cms by 5cms). Signed and dated on an oval plaque attached to the extension chain. From Autumn/Winter 1999 Haute Couture Collection (99A). This amazing necklace is in excellent condition and comes safely packed in its own Chanel box.
