This 24K gold hardware beige caviar tote is from 1994-1996 (20 years!) and in great condition without storage nor foul smell. It is designed with a slot pocket in the front and back of the bag which is great for easy access to some 'flat' items. This is a lovely vintage piece with no scuffs on corners or edges. Big C buckle does spot some hairline scratches but only visible from certain angles. Some marks can also be seen as a result of the turnlock design. Please see video. No faults spotted on grommets, the beige caviar skin remains luscious but as it is a light coloured, it does spot some darkening of leather in between the chains. See video on this. Otherwise, colour on the bag remains true to its original beige colour. The interior is clean and stain free, comes with 2 side zip pockets each with EP zipper with double C rounded gold zipper pull tag. Serial on the hologram is still clear and visible. One of the zippers is slightly worn aesthetically and does not impact zipper functionality. Well maintained structure, shiny and firm leather, stands upright on its own when placed on table. Overall very good condition! No touch up, no re-colouring 100% original condition. Stamped in gold CHANEL and Made in France. She is ~30 years old from Series 2 (1991 - 1994) and remains in unbelievably smooth and buttery leather. I think the saying "aged like fine wine" should be augmented to say "aged like Chanel bag". A. A very unique design comprising of vertical chevron quilt design with the classic CC turnlock design with 24k gold hallmark. Minor hairline scratches noted on the turnlock which is very normal. This is a single flap design and opens up to a single compartment. Interior is lined with burgundy red leather, it is clean with clearly visible hologram and golden sticker. Golden stickers can be found on pieces that were bought from boutique in Japan in the 80s-90s. Date on sticker is Mar 1990 - a piece of this bag's past. This bag is very spacious and functional! Back of bag sports vertical chevron design with a slit pocket lined with black leather. Comprising of a double grommet design, that means you can carry it on the underarm (double chain), or long shoulder or cross body (single chain). All 4 grommets are good without faults. This classic chain is in very good condition - no lost of gold. In fact, it's sparkly in shiny yellow gold. No peeling noted in the leather. CHANEL and Made in France gold stamp is very clear. Excellent pre-loved condition, no foul smell nor peeling. No scuff marks at all corners. Excellent bag structure, sits up straight when placed on table. Some minor scuffs on the front of the bag as marked in photo. We say this particular piece is in very good overall condition. We have taken these photos under harsh natural lightings and close-up so you'll be able to see every single scratch but the truth is not all the scratches are that obvious.
