After nearly a century of dressing women in tweed, Chanel has taken the threads of the fabric and woven a new collection of eyeshadow quads for the eyes. There are 8 new Les 4 Ombres that have been released (and will be hitting most stores this summer) and will replace many of the existing ones. Finally, after years of underwhelming us with dry and sheer eyeshadows, Chanel is finally creating some creamy and pigmented shadows that are runway worthy! As these have yet to arrive in Singapore, a sweet friend sent me Tissé Vénitien all the way from Germany! During an initiatory journey through the canals of Venice, Gabrielle Chanel drew inspiration from the enchanting colour combinations she saw in the City of the Doges.
