My client acquired this in France many many years ago from a dealer. She was told at the time that is was an early Chanel acquired directly form the original owner. It does not have any labels but it does have the feel of piece Chanel was doing at the time. I am offering it at a price for the quality of the dress itself. The work is remarkable - a textured silk has been knife pleated and the over-stitched in horizontal rows from shoulder to the dropped waist.
